Okay guys … this is a throw together recipe I came up with today & OMG it’s amazing!
I’m calling it Fruity Ham Surprise ~ because I’m surprised at how delicious it is
I used leftover ham ~ cut into approximately 1 inch cubes
1/2 a bottle of Teriyaki sauce (about 3/4 cup)
1/2 jar plum sauce (about 3/4 cup)
1 - 14oz can peach slices in juice
1 sweet red pepper
1. Put chopped ham cubes in 4L (4Quart) crockpot
2. In bowl add the Teriyaki sauce, Plum Sauce and juice from the peaches ~ stir until smooth.
3. Chop pepper & cut the peach slices into little chunks ~ then stir both into the sauce.
4. Pour over the ham chunks in the crockpot & stir to mix.
Cook on Low for about 3 hours then set to warm until ready for dinner.
Serve over rice.
I’m telling you ~ I am making this again!!!!
PS ~ I’m allergic to pineapple so whenever a recipe calls for pineapple ~ I’ve always substituted peaches…. The peaches give this a nice little twist ~ hope y’all give my dish a try!
