Stretching 1lb of Ground Beef: Easy Recipe with Jasmine Rice and French Onion Mix

I made a post earlier asking about ways to stretch 1lb of ground beef and this is what I ended up doing!
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 12oz box of jasmine instant rice
- 3.5cups of beef broth
- 1 packet of dry French onion mix
Just fry up your beef and season to your liking, set aside. Mix in the onion packet to the beef broth and bring to a boil to prepare the instant rice according to box. Combine the ground beef into the rice and done!
I ended up drizzling my concoction with a little hoisin sauce for some extra flavor. Served with a side salad

I also stretch hamburger with rice. Brown hamburger one diced onion, maybe green pepper if you have it, one cuppish rice. Put in quart of home canned crushed tomatoes or canned equivalent of diced tomatoes. Simmer and stir until rice done. Season with Mexican seasonings of choice. Maybe add smidgen of water if rice needs it. Serve with green beans or something healthy and tell everyone it's soup.
 
If you add some bell peppers, onions and tomatoes you could make stuffed peppers, unstuffed peppers, or fajitas..
 
I like to stretch my ground beef with black beans but this looks yummy. Maybe for Philly cheesesteak or something. Hoisin is my beef jam!
