With fall rolling in, I'm craving chilli! But my kids won't eat anything spicy! Well most of my kids. Lol. Anyways. Give me your best sweet chili recipe. Please nothing spicy!

This is what I do! Super simple and good! Chili powder is what will give it spice but you can use taco seasoning for that chili flavor with no heat!

Feeding 4 to 5 people, I brown one pound of meat(ground beef, ground chicken, ground turkey, stew meat or venison...basically whatever meat I have when I make it 😂). Then I saute one whole onions and one bell pepper add the cooked meat back in and then I add 2 cans light red kidney beans, 1 can dark red kidney beans(add the liquid from the cans, do not drain) and 1 can of diced tomatoes (or a couple chopped fresh tomatoes) add salt, pepper, chilli powder and cumin seasoning to taste) bring all to a boil then reduce heat to simmer and cover cooking for about an hour on low. This makes a nice thick chilli, if you like more soupy add a large can of tomato juice.
