Simple pork chop recipes please ?? I have these thick pork chops and no clue how to make them on stove top . Tried to make them today and they weren't done
🤦🏻‍♀️

If you still have them, (the ones that weren’t done) throw them in a baking dish and add a can of mushroom soup. Cover and bake for 45 min

Use a mallet and beat them down more flat. You can bake them with some cinnamon applesauce on top and diced apples. Bake for around 45 min at 375.

If they are boneless toss them in a crockpot with two cans of cream of chicken soup and two packs of Lipton onion soup mix. Cook 4 hours on high. Serve over rice. It’s delicious!!

Pan fry until you get a good sear on both sides and then throw in the oven to finish. Sauce them at the oven stage if using sauce 😊

You can pan sear them...olive oil on medium high heat until hot. Sear on one side until Golden brown then flip another 3-5 minutes. Once at 135 internally take them off the heat and let cook with their own heat until 145.

Fry in a deep pan until browned on both sides. Take out. Add sliced onions and sliced apples to the pan once softened a bit add some flour stir to cook the flour then enough stock to almost cover the vegetables. Put the chops back on top and braise, lid on for 30 minutes or until the chops are cooked.

Parmesean Chicken/Pork Chops. 1# meat. 1/3C grated parmesan cheese. Mix together 1/2C mayo, 1/2t each salt/pepper, 3 cloves garlic-chopped. Grease baking pan. Pat meat dry. Spread mayo on 1 side of meat. Top with shredded parmesan cheese. Bake 400 x 20 min uncovered. Chicken should temp at 165 and pork at 145 internally.

Peachy Pork/Chicken Picante: cube pork/chicken into 1 inch cubes, dust meat with taco seasoning. Lightly fry in skillet. Add 1/3C peach preserves and 1C salsa (or 1 can of rotel). Simmer. Serve over rice.

Marinade chicken/pork in dill pickle juice for 1-2 hrs. Cook as you usually would bake, roast, sear, broil, grill etc.

Can be made with chicken breasts or thighs or pork chops.
Pork Chops with Orange Rice
Easy pork chops baked with orange juice and rice for an easy weeknight meal.
4 pork chops boneless or bone-in
3 cups instant rice
1 can chicken broth
1 1/2 cups orange juice
1 can chicken rice soup *Campbells
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Preheat oven to 375.
In a pan: brown the pork chops and season with salt and pepper on both sides as they cook.
Pour the rice, soup mixture, orange juice and chicken broth together into a 9x13 glass baking dish. Stir it together.
Place the pork chops on top of the rice and cover with tinfoil.
Bake for 35-45 minutes covered with foil. When you take it out of the oven, the rice should be cooked and most of the liquid absorbed.
Recipe Notes:
Serve with sautéd carrots in with the rice or on the side.
Garnish with flat leaf Italian Parsley and sliced oranges if desired.

Use a meat thermometer. Pork only needs to be cooked to an internal temp of 145. Over cooking, esp if fried or grilled will make chops tough.

I would butterfly them and/or beat them thin. The thinner they are the faster they will cook and cook more evenly without burning. I normally beat mine thin. Take a cup or so of flour.I season the flour with garlic, onion, paprika, Italian seasoning. I will dip in an egg mixture and the flour. Then fry on medium heat in a pan with oil. You could also use bread crumbs.
