I make stew in mine all the time. Root vegetables on the bottom, meat and spices on top, with whatever broth you want to use.

Tonight I have a whole chicken. A can of light beer, kinders buttery steakhouse seasoning and Mrs dash chicken (not a fan of alot of salt) Mr bird will be (dsrkcmeat) chicken noodles soup tomorrow. And white meat will be chicken salad (food processed down) for kiddo who had braces put on today.
Another good one is 1 cup of 15 bean soup soaked over night (I use a quart jar. 1 cup bean mix and fill with water. Fridge over night) dump in crock pot yes the water too, and a whole bottle of bbq sauce. And another whole quart if water...... Kids love the "counter top" baked beans

Italian beef: a roast, packet dry Italian seasoning, jar mild banana peppers, can of beer (alcohol cooks out ).Throw all in cook in high at least 6 hours (I usually cook 8 hours). When time to serve, throw on your favorite bun or roll with your favorite cheese. We switch up which cheese and rolls each time we make it.

Italian beef you take stew beef put in crockpot then add 1 large cup of black coffee and powder beef broth water and seasonings 1 onion let cook till meat falls apart and put on hoggie buns or hamburger buns

Taco soup. Couple chicken breasts then dump cans of black beans, corn and rotel, sometimes a can of stewed tomatoes. I drain the corn and rinse the beans. You can add whatever veggies you like. Add some chicken broth and taco seasoning to your taste. This makes a huge vat of soup. I usually freeze some for later meals because we can only eat taco soup so many meals in a row.

Italian chicken. 2lbs chicken, some diced onion, 28 oz can diced tomatoes, 2garlic cloves minced, 1/4 c honey, 2T olive oil, 1t dried oregano, 1/2t dried parsley, S/P to taste and 1/4t crushed red pepper flakes. Toss it in and serve over egg noodles or any pasta. When I make this it serves 5 plus at least 3 left over meals. I prep several of these in ziplock bags and just toss in the crock pot in the am when I leave for work. I don’t even thaw it.

Cafe Rio chicken
2lb chicken, 1/2 bottle of Italian dressing, 3T dry ranch seasoning, 2t minced garlic, 2t cumin, 2t chili powder and half cup water. I make these ahead in freezer bags as well.

Tomato beef veggie soup. Small onion diced, frozen veggie mix (carrots, green beans, corn) get equivalent to about 3 small bags, 1 can cannellini beans drained and rinsed, 24 oz can pasta sauce, 1 lb ground meat (I use turkey because my husband won’t eat beef), 4 cups beef broth. I add a little beef bouillon since I use the turkey. This is another dump in the pot and let it cook. I also make this is bags without the broth and freeze for future.
This recipe makes so much soup.
