Here’s my weekly menu for the week ahead incase anyone needed any ideas 😊

@devastatednate That’s a great thing!! You can freeze leftovers in meal-sized portions for another week!
When we became empty nesters, I just couldn’t stop cooking for 5. I started freezing meals for later. I seriously only had to cook one or two days a week after the first few weeks. It was great!Suddenly we became a family of 4 again, & I’m back to having just enough leftovers for lunch the next day unless I spend my weekends cooking several huge meals.
Long story short: you don’t have to learn how to cook for fewer people. Keep cooking tons. Freeze, then take a couple weeks off from cooking! Your freezer & your microwave are your friends! 🤣

@devastatednate We eat any leftovers for lunches. Some days have more leftovers than others so it may be the entree from one night with a side salad or fruit but it all gets eaten and makes lunches easier too.

@krogerdude1 This is what we do as well. If the leftovers become too much, we will have a smorgasbord night. But with 6 kids every night's leftovers are usually gone in a lunch or two.
