I wanted to make shredded pork sandwiches . However, I think I brought the wrong cut of pork. Please can someone give me a good recipe using boneless pork loin? Thank you.
Let me tell ya, if you have a crock pot, toss that thing in there season it up with some garlic powder and pepper then add a can of sloppy joe sauce, I doctor mine up with a little brown sugar and "W" sauce before adding on top, just cook until tender and it's really great for making sammies
I think you can use any pork roast. I put my pork roast in the crockpot with 8 ounces of cola. Yes, that simple. I make pulled pork sandwiches with Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce. Yum.
I use any cut of pork, pork loin roasts, really thick cut pork chops ECT...put it in a slow cooker on low for about 5 hours shred with a fork and the mix in barbeque sauce.
I always use a boneless pork loin. Slow cooker on low for about 6-8 hours (depends on your crock pot). I put some apple juice in there to cook it with. Remove the meat, shred and add your favorite bbq sauce. Always perfect!
Just use some salt pepper garlic and cayenne and bbq sauce. Cook in crock pot on low until shredable. Shred add more bbq sauce and leave on low or warm until time to eat.
This is the cut I use to make it also. I cook mine on low for at least 8 hours in a 12 oz can if dr pepper. Adding bbq sauce with brown sugar last 30 mins.
