Creative Rice & Noodle Recipes (No Casserole or Spaghetti!)

Put stewed tomatoes/ diced tomatoes in a crockpot with some eye of round steaks. Make rice and pour meat over rice! One of my favorites!

Fish rice balls. If you got white fish, cut small. Into bits. Then mix with the rice. Mix a egg, add. Will bind the balls. Either cook in frying pan, airfryer or oven.

I make something super simple but delicious.
Rice.
Sautee zucchini, yellow squash, mushrooms, olives, sweet peppers (anything, really)
cut chicken into bite sizes and cook on stove.
Mix all together with Buffalo sauce (or any sauce)
And it's super yummy! I could eat it every day

Crawfish rice. So easy and quick.
1-1/2 cups uncooked long grain Rice (like Cajun Country)
1 pound of Louisiana crawfish tails, thawed, with the fat *DO NOT use imported crawfish
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of onion soup
1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
4 tablespoons of butter, melted
2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
2 dashes hot sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1-1/2 cups chicken broth
1/2 pound crabmeat, optional
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a buttered 9 x 13 inch casserole dish. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serves 6.
Cook's Notes: I used frozen Louisiana crawfish tails, Slap Ya Mama {affil link} Cajun seasoning {affil link}, and 1 pound of claw crabmeat.
Frozen Crawfish Tip: To freshen the taste of frozen crawfish, add 1/2 teaspoon (or to taste) of liquid crab boil and enough ice cold water to cover the seafood. Let it soak in the fridge for about an hour. Keep in mind you will need to use much less Cajun seasoning after soaking the seafood however, so taste, then add and adjust other seasonings.
I always use just a large can of cream of mushroom soup and I’ve never done the crabmeat. After I thaw my crawfish and rinse them I put like half a cap of crab boil on them to give them that flavor.

Cream of mushroom chicken! Comfort food that goes a long way!
Feeds 4
2 medium size chicken breasts
3-4 potatoes
Big pack of mushrooms
1 bag of frozen green beans
2 family size cans of cream of mushroom soup
16oz of chicken broth
I do this in the crockpot for 5-6 hours on high
Dice up the chicken to bite size pieces, dice potatoes in bite size pieces keep them on the smaller size just not too small to keep them cooking even with the rest. season the chicken and potatoes with garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste. clean mushrooms and place over potatoes and chicken. add cream of mushroom soup on top of chicken, potatoes, mushrooms, green beans on top! Pour broth over all.
Put this over white rice (our favorite is Jasmine but any will do). Or you can do egg noodles!
