I do pork and rice. I shred a carrot and add celery. And there is a homemade beef flavored rice casserole. I also do a pork or chicken w/wild rice(uncle Ben’s) and I add water cress and mushrooms.
Stuffed shells, frozen ravioli with fried chicken cutlets, use red sauce n alfredo to top with cheese then toss in the oven to melt cheese. Rice.... stuffed peppers cabbage rolls, gumbo, red beans... stuffed bell pepper casserole.. top with instant mashed potatoes and cheese toss in the oven to melt cheese. Those are my family's favorites and easy go to... do it separately if you don't want it as casserole.
Stuffed peppers! 4 bell peppers 1 lb ground beef, 3 cloves garlic, half white onion, I like to add some motzerella cheese as well! I cook the onions and garlic till They're browned, then add the ground beef! Once that's all cooked and you strain the beef, add 1 cup (cooked) rice to the mix and let it brown a little more then add like 1/4 cup cheese before stuffing them in the peppers (I like to keep the peppers whole, but you can cut them in half too!) cook in the oven at 425 for 15-20 minutes, I like to add a little more cheese on top as well! Theyre super filling
I saute rice in butter, margarine or olive oil, then add chopped onion, grqted carrot and green beans along with chicken bullion. Another method is to saute' add bullion, dried cranberries and pecans.
Tonight I made “seasoned rice” I cut up some pumpkin, carrots, onion garlic scallion, boiled 2 small ears of corn and cut the corn off and added it to pot, added some butter thyme a little all purpose seasoning and mushroom soy sauce. And made on big pot of rice with those seasonings in it. Usually would add some salted cod fish but one of my family members didn’t want that.
Freeze your rice if you have a lot. I saw on the news that rice will be in short supply by years end. I vacumn seal it and into the freezer it goes. Rice keeps for years like that.

You can enjoy it as is or add whatever sauce you like. In my house some use soy sauce, some use teriyaki, I like worchestershire.
I use left over rice mixed with an egg or two and salt and pepper to make a quiche crust, then add fillings (meat, veg etc) then more egg to top it off white cheese on top. Bake it in the oven in a pue plate. Yum
