Creative Rice & Noodle Recipes (No Casserole or Spaghetti!)

Rice can be used as a binder in some recipes like my mom would make her stuffed peppers or meatloaf she would add that instead of breadcrumbs. But it would be fantastic in stuff pepper soup especially if you made too many stuffed peppers you can just take the leftovers and turn it into a soup.
 
I learned a new trick with rice. Soak it in water for 30 min. before you cook it. I use Jasmine and you still need to rinse it before you cook it. Somehow it tastes better. Also, I saw on Dr. Oz once that if you put cooked rice in the fridge overnight, it somehow looses half of the carbs.
 
Sounds crazy but it’s a DIVINE
ANGEL HAIR NOODLES
mayonnaise
Sour cream
Tomato bouillon
Cook together into a sauce
Add cooked noodles
Fry some thin sliced ham
BOOM super tasty lunch!
 
Shrimp and rice salad
Cook rice and chill
Chop green onion, bell pepper, yellow squash, and zuccinni half grape tomatoes, and any other vegies.
Mix veggies and rice together and marinate in red wine vinegar 2 or more hours.
Drain as much vinegar as possible from rice mixture.
Add cooked shrimp to rice/ vegetables.
Combine
Season with salt , pepper, garlic powder and onion powder.. (you can omit these seasoning and instead add 1 packet of dry ranch dressing mix as alternative idea)
Combine.
Once combined, add Hellmans mayonnaise to desired creaminess and texture.
Refrigerate until cold and ready to serve.
Serve over lettuce leaf and enjoy!

Once a week all the leftover meat, and veggies go into a fried rice .. it’s usually better than the original dishes, full meal in a bowl, lunch or dinner
