Homemade Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Biscuits: Delicious and Budget-Friendly Breakfast Option!

I make sausage, egg and cheese but use toasted hamburger buns. Warm up the sausage patties in the microwave, fry an egg (make sure to break the yolk) and a slice of cheese and assemble. Quick and easy!

I make these but with ground pork sausage. I form patties and cook them up. I like a little hot sauce on mine to. My husband likes biscuits and I like English muffins. So I make up the biscuits and make him breakfast sandwiches for the week with the leftovers

To save even more money try making homemade biscuits its really not that difficult. Self rising flour, cut in some cold butter or lard, buttermilk, a little salt. Bake in huge batches and freeze them for later use.
I make 2 huge sheet pans, fry bacon, make eggs in oven like you did. Assemble them freeze. Freeze some just biscuits to have with certain meals like fried chicken & mashed potatoes. Biscuits & gravy. I sometimes have just a jelly butter biscuit.

@automatiic I usually make the cut out biscuits using bisquick but I had to run to Walmart yesterday morning and there were some hangry people in my house so grabbed these while out. I'll be able to plan ahead next time though!!

@komalsinghaws Girl I've been there. I always keep can biscuits on hand. Because sometimes if I'm outta homemade my crew has asked for breakfast for supper lots of times and I will throw in a can of biscuits while I'm making gravy.
When my hubby worked the 2nd shift in coal mines we never knew what time he would be home and he would call before leaving and asked for breakfast my kids hadn't started school yet and we kept hubby's hours so we would be eating breakfast at 1 am some nights.

@thomasfj 😆 I use self rising flour so I guess it has all the good stuff in there that helps it rise. I have made them using all purpose flour and add baking powder. My mom uses active yeast

I do this at home, too, but I don’t use a microwave. Sometimes we make poached eggs, put them in a muffin tin and cook for 5 to 7 minutes depending on how you like them. Sometimes we bake the scrambled that way, can add ham bits bacon bits and cheese for a loaded omelette biscuit. So good!

I started frying bacon, them fry eggs topping with cheese, add mayo and put on toast or fry bacon and crumble, add eggs and cheese and scramble then add to toast.
