Hi
👋

So im wanting to make baked chicken for sunday but dont know how too. Please provide me a recipe, your tricks or tips to keep chicken juicy and seasoings, and how to cook. Thank you all!
I am using bone in thighs and legs. A plus if you can give a budget side dish!

Take a whole chicken cut it in half take those two haves and marinate (24 hours ) them in ranch dressing mix with some either 1/2 and 1/2 or milk so the marinade is not so thick but enough to even coat the chicken
Bake in the oven at 350 until you reach an internal temp of 165 or higher
Side ideas
Corn on cob
Corn bread
Pasta salad
French fries
Mash w/ gravy
Roasted veggies
Broccoli
Broccoli salad
Baked potatoes
Sweet potato
Asparagus
Or if that’s to complicated try seasoning the chicken to your liking and cooking it in a turkey bag according to the instructions on the bag!

Season the chicken bacon chicken broth or water with carrots and whole potatoes for baked potatoes seasoned chicken bake with water or chicken broth drain the juice put barbecue sauce with mashed potatoes or rice or macaroni and cheese bake the chicken season it with cream of chicken soup over rice or mashed potatoes are on side you can use a soup as a gravy

Skin on you can take a spoon or your finger and reach in between shin and meat, season with what you like dry rub and butter and lemon slices. Tuck skin around to seal and bake for 30 minutes if separate or an hour if still leg quarters at 350. Basically makes rotisserie chicken. Cook on a bed of foil to where grease drips down. Put potatoes or veggies of choice. I would suggest veggies that can hold up well. It's okay if they are soft, but squash or zucchini will be soupy cause of the liquid so plan accordingly.
A recipe for egg roll in a bowl with 1 pound hamburger meat. Brown drain, and add 1/2 cup soy sauce and 1/2 cup brown sugar added garlic pepper, and onion powder and 1 tsp cornstarch to very little water and add to sauce to thicken into homemade teriyaki sauce. I had half a chopped cabbage and 4 med carrots. I peeled and ribboned them then sliced thin bell peppers, and 2 pablano peppers just cause I had them. Dangerously delicious!!!

Very easy! Season with your favorite seasonings (I keep it simple w garlic and onion pwdr, tiny bit of salt, pepper, and I air fry thighs for 20 minutes @ 350°. If you leave them as quarters (thighs and legs attached), you can oven roast for 40-45 minutes. The skin will get crispy and the meat will be moist. I take the pan juices and pour it over cooked rice (you can even oven bake your rice, did you know it comes out great!) that you make w stock or bullion. Or serve with a simple box stuffing, w cranberry sauce. Sliced steamed/boiled carrots or peas n carrots are a nice veggie side, or thick cut steamed summer squash, or Brussel sprouts if you like it.
I also like roasting or air frying thighs w herbes de provenceand garlic/onion pwdr, then saute a bunch of quartered white mushrooms and thick sliced portobellos, add shallots, chicken broth, marsala wine let the liquid boil off a few minutes, then add the chicken pieces and pan juices and let that simmer for a few minutes, and serve w noodles or rice. It's a very easy chicken marsala that wows every time I make it.
The third way I enjoy is just slathering on bbq sauce and baking in the oven. Easy peasy.
You can also crush a box of stuffing mix and bread the chicken pieces, and oven bake. I make my own breading mix w crushed potato chips, corn flakes, poultry seasoning, herbs.
