Bacon ranch pasta salad! I use 1 box of rotini noodles 1# bacon diced and fried 4oz cheese cubed(or as much as you like or none at all!) And ranch. I use the powder and make my own. Mix and enjoy! Easy and delicious!
Small dice Onions,fennel , celery,and what ever veg you like Dill or sweet pickle, Cooked elbow or rotini Mix milk, mayo Or Miracle Whip and a hint of sugar If you like sweet, Add cheese and or frozen peas It's really a personal choice So just have fun and enjoy
Boil elbow macaroni an put old bay while boiling use frozen shrimp that’s already to use thaw the shrimp an put old bay on the shrimp when macaroni is completely cool add shrimp to the macaroni an add ranch dressing made with butter milk mix well an refrigerate it until you are ready to serve it
Do you mean deli counter salads? Lol! I thought I was the only person in the world who thought those things tasted like metal.
When not making my own I think boxed pasta salads are alright.
Chef John's macaroni salad
Dressing::::
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup white vinegar
2 tbsp dijon mustard
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp cayenne
1 tbsp sugar
Veggies::::
1 cup diced celery and bell pepper
1/2 cup grated carrots
Chopped green onions
Diced jalapeno/poblano peppers
16 oz macaroni
Optional::::
1 tbsp mayo
1 tbsp water
Whisk dressing together and combine with veggies.
Place in fridge while macaroni is cooking.
Drain macaroni for 5 minutes, BUT DON'T RINSE!
Macaroni should be sticky.
Pour dressing over the macaroni and stir to combine.
Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight (preferably)
Stir before serving and add the 1 tbsp water and mayo.
Elbow macaroni cut up some cheese I use extra sharp dice some onion I get oh snap pickles dice them up green eggs an miracle whip its usually gone in2 days in our house
Chopped pickles, cauliflower, celery, green onion. Shredded cheese, bacon bits if you feel fancy. Dressing: about equal parts mayo and sour cream, splash of pickle juice, dill weed, pepper:salt as you like. If you have it use some dill pickle dip mix or popcorn seasoning to make it extra pickley!
