Creative Rice & Noodle Recipes (No Casserole or Spaghetti!)

Stick of butter rice
1 cup long grain uncooked rice
1 can french onion soup
1 cup beef broth
1 stick butter
Put rice in casserole dish. Add soup and broth and stir. Cut stick of butter in slices and put on top of rice. Cook 350 degrees covered for 30 minutes take off cover cook for another 30 minutes. This is so good and if you can use a non stick dish. 😊
 
Korean rice bowls. So delicious!
1 pound ground beef or chicken.
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 bag coleslaw mix
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
2 tsp sesame oil
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
2 cups hot cooked white rice
Sliced green onion and sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
In a large skillet cook the ground beef/chicken and garlic breaking it into crumbles over medium heat until no longer pink.
Add in the coleslaw mix, stirring often until vegetables begin to soften.
In a small bowl whisk brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, red pepper flakes and pepper. Pour over the mixture in skillet and let simmer for another minute or two.
Serve over hot rice and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
 
I make jambalaya at least once a month from the box of zatarains and a hillshire farm smoked sausage. You could use any meat you like, add cheese and hot sauce like we do, add tomatoes or anything else you like as well.
When I make spaghetti I make enough for next day leftovers and throw each serving into a pan with olive oil, butter, garlic or garlic salt, and extra sauce and “fry” it up until hot. It changed the flavor and is so much better than the original version.
 
Poor man’s Goulash
I ground beef browned and drained
2 boxes Mac & cheese prepared
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can corn
1 C shredded cheese (optional)
Mix diced tomatoes and corn together and heat. Add in ground beef & Mac & cheese top with shredded cheese. Bake if desired otherwise it’s fine as is.
Sopa
Ground beef, cubed chicken, pork or steak
Any pasta or 1 cup of rice
Bell pepper
Onion
Tomato sauce
Brown choice of meat & drain season with salt, pepper, cumin, & garlic powder.
In a separate skillet with bottom coated with oil, brown pasta or rice, season same as above. Add tomato sauce 2 cups of water or broth. Add in choice of meat and bring to a boil, cover & simmer for 10 minutes (15 minutes for rice)
Remove from heat source and let set for an additional 10-15 minute. Serve with beans and tortillas.
Spanish Rice
1 cup of rice
2 cups water
1 can tomato sauce & diced onion
In a skillet coat bottom with oil and lightly brown rice add onion. Add tomato sauce and then your seasonings, salt, pepper, cumin,
& garlic powder. Then add in your water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium cover and simmer 15 minutes. Do not stir or uncover. Let sit covered an additional 10-15 minutes.
Easiest pasta salad
1 lbs Pasta (elbows)
1/2 lbs Ham (diced)
Small Can of chopped Jalapeño
Mayonnaise desired amount I use 1 1/2 cups
Cook pasta
Add remaining ingredients season with salt & pepper, combine well & chill
My daughter likes to add 1/2 block of cream cheese and a can of corn. Either way it’s simple and delish
Cheddars New Orleans Pasta
1 Tbls olive oil
1 lbs chicken breast cut in strips or cubed
1/4 cup chorizo (I use sausage links cut in medallions)
2 Tbls scallions or green onion
1/2 Tbls garlic
Red hot pepper sauce to taste
Worcestershire sauce to taste
3/4 cup Heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 lbs shrimp (I use more) lol
1/2 lbs Penne pasta
Salt and pepper to taste
1. Heat oil in a large sauté pan until shimmering. Add the chicken and sausage and cook; about 5 minutes, stirring often.
2. Add the green onions, garlic, and 2 generous dashes each of red hot pepper sauce and Worcestershire sauce (or to taste), and cook for 1 minute. Add the cream, cheese, shrimp, and pasta.
3. Cook, tossing, enough to heat through. Adjust seasoning to taste with salt and black pepper.

One is loco moco a Hawaiian dish:
You need one pound a ground beef, eggs, rice, and a pack of easy mix gravy
First brown up the ground beef into patties(make them big and flat) add flavor of onion then make rice and eggs(soft eggie!) and ur gravy then plate with rice on bottom a Pattie of beef and a egg and then top with gravy! So good and simple
Another is rice and chicken with Alfredo sauce with broccoli
For noodlesssss
I get (2) tomato pesto cans and Noodles and meatballs or u can do chicken too
Or do homemade chipotle bowls :3
 
Sauté onions and peppers until soft. Remove from pan. Cook Steakums until done. Cook rice. Put Steakums, onions and peppers over rice. Add Teriyaki sauce. Soooo good and simple
 
Dirty rice
1 container of SAVOY”s dressing mix
1 roll of jimmy dean sausage
2 cups rice
Brown dressing mix and sausage- when it’s brown DO NOT DRAIN-that’s your gravy
Add rice - stir and ready to eat

One of our quick go to meals is simple
Cook white rice
Fry or cook however you like chicken and add picante salsa, that’s it. Let it simmer for about 15 min on low or even add to chicken while cooking and serve over rice. The juices of the sauce are delicious. Add whatever spices you like.
 
Chicken, red,yellow and orange peppers, red onion, cook together with steak spice and add a full bottle of Diannas original BBQ sauce, then mix your cooked rice right in 😍
