Creative Rice & Noodle Recipes (No Casserole or Spaghetti!)

Cooked bowtie pasta, cubed sauted chicken breast, sundried tomatoes, fresh spinach, grated parmesan and olive garden salad dressing. Serve warm.
 
Quick and Hearty Gumbo
Slice and sauté smoked sausage/kielbasa in small amt of oil
Add 1 can beef (or) chicken broth
Add 1 can diced tomatoes (I prefer tomatoes with basil, garlic, and oregano but regular diced is fine)
Add 1 can whole kernel corn
Add 1 cup instant rice
Cover and Simmer until rice is
Done stirring occasionally
Enjoy!
 
Unstuffed Peppers
1# hamburg
1 jar spaghetti sauce
2 large green peppers, chopped
1 1/4 c water
1 cup instant rice
Cook hamburg. Crumble. Drain. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Turn down to simmer. Cover and let simmer for 20 minutes.
 
In a pyrex square dish lay bonesless porkchops down. Slice green bell pepper and onions on over the chops. Cover in rice and pour diced tomatoes over it to cover (use the juices). I add a can of rotel also. Cover in foil and bake for about an hour or hour and a half at 350 degrees. Salt and pepper. Delish.
 
I did sausage mild hot and rice made the rice like a Spanish rice and added black-eyed peas and sweet bell pepper some Italian spices and baked. Very good its on my make again foods.
 
Chicken thighs frozen go in crockpot. Large can of cream of chicken soup. Fill with milk. Cook all day on low while at work or high for 4 hours. Put over rice with a little johnnys seasoning 🧂 on top. Delish!!
 
So our go to easiest recipe is 1.5 cups rice 1.5 cups water and frozen broccoli in the instapot. Hi hw rice button. As soon as its done i add 1 package of cream cheese a bag of cheddar cheese and a splash of milk. Salt and pepper to taste. My kids love it! Add any meat you want to it. Taco seasoned ground beef or turkey, shredded chicken, cubed ham, sliced pork chops, whatever you got. So good!
 
Wide egg noodles, cream of mush, cooked and drained ground beef, sour cream, corn. Mix all together and heat through in 13x9 pan.
Beef stroganoff, taco stuffed shells (Pinterest), hamburger Mac, goulash, chicken pot pie noodles (instead of putting in a pie, add to cooked and drained elbow noodles)
 
Jambalaya, dirty rice, rice soups, congee, stir frys (it usues up left over veggies and meats really well too, just make sure u use day old white rice has a better texture) and wash ur rice
 
Spanish rice. White or jasmine rice add some cilantro and tomato, I use chicken bouillon and tomato bouillon. The biggest tip I ever got was whatever your water tastes like is whatever your rice will taste like!
