Creative Rice & Noodle Recipes (No Casserole or Spaghetti!)

I just made yellow rice with veggies for myself tonight. Sauté diced onion, diced yellow squash and zucchini in butter and a tiny bit of avocado oil until preferred doneness. Make yellow rice to package instructions. Mix the cooked vegetables along with most of their cooking liquid (butter and whatever sweated out of the vegetables) into the rice. I also added a few cooked sweet plantains on top. Simple but good.

Two excellent recipe videos by the Cajun Ninja:

(serve over rice)
When making gumbo, l use Savoie’s Old Fashioned Dark Roux in the jar.
He puts the recipe in the notes.

Cook rice, dice cilantro onions and garlic and sautéed, add rice and black beans to pan and cook together with the onions garlic and cilantro, dice into small pieces chicken or steak and cook then add to rice mix and cook together, add salt and pepper to taste, let cool as you prep green/red/yellow/orange peppers depending on your preference then stuff with mixture, place in glass baking dish and add butter to pan, cover and bake at 400° for 20-30 mins.

My mom makes rice with caned tomatoes, corn, and peas (I think she puts tomato juice and chicken broth in it to cook the rice) and she occasionally adds chicken it's so good

French Onion Rice: Preheat oven to 400°
Take an 8x8 metal pan(glass takes longer to cook)
Put in 1 cup rice, 1 can Campbell's French Onion Soup, 1 can Campbell's beef consomme and 1 cube butter
Put in oven for 30 minutes.
I take boneless skinless chicken thighs or boneless pork chops, pat them dry, rub them on both sides with a variety of spices, place them squished against each other in a pan(this keeps them moister)and put them in the oven beside the rice. Depending on the thickness they'll cook in somewhere around 15-30 minutes so I put them in at the same time as the rice or half way through the cooking time.

Hamburger casserole
Ground beef
1 onion chopped
Can of mushroom
Mozzarella cheese
A little bit of Half and half makes a little creamier.
Regular rice or cauliflower rice

No Peak Chicken, teriyaki chicken, orange chicken, creamy sherry chicken, buffalo chicken and rice, Spanish chicken and rice, chicken stew, curry chicken, chicken and dumplings, chicken spinach and artichoke, chicken enchiladas, salsa verde chicken, cheesy chicken and broccoli, and here is about 1200 more

I know you said no chicken and rice, but in the crockpot if you put in a couple chicken breasts, some rice, and instead of 2 cups of water, do one jar of salsa and a cup of water and cook it on low for like 45 hours and then shred the chicken and mix it all together. So yummy.
