We make pork bombs. Cheese and or potatoes in the middle wrapped in bacon. It’s a hit in our house. Umm I’m sure could Google a gluten free version.

@catholicbat yes!! We deep fry ours for about 10-15 I believe. I don’t even time it anymore because we make it so much. But pound the meat season and rub then we fill with either cheese and or mashed potatoes then wrap in bacon and deep fry until bacon is crisp and temps at 160. I really think it’s 10 minutes but could be longer.

@catholicbat also try air fryer for I think it said 20 minutes at 300? I really should find my original recipe and I could tell ya. Air fryer was less grease and healthier I think but I’m a fat kid so grease and wondering why I keep gaining weight 😂😂😂😂

@catholicbat although I don’t see why couldnt put it in oven on a wire rack and bake until bacon is crispy and temp is 160. I’ve never done it that way so let me know!! That might be something I’ll have to try.. hmmm

I like to line a pan with tinfoil leave enough on each side to fold over ! Then butter in each corner of the pan// separate bowl place pork chops, seasonings of choice (I use garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and pepper) then your favorite Italian salad dressing on top mix it all together and refrigerate for about an hour and cook them on 350 for 30 minutes covered!!

Bake in the preheated oven until the chops are no longer pink in the center; about 30 to 45 minutes. Serve with roasted asparagus (cooked in olive oil, sea salt, pepper) & baked sweet potatoes with brown sugar, pecans & marshmallows

@catholicbat I second this, I just spray with cooking spray then press in Italian style bread crumbs with a little garlic powder mixed in ( you could make your own) bake 8-10 mins each side. Pork does not have to be well done and is so juicy when cooked just right

@ioannes I think I must always end up overcooking mine then. The kids never seem to like it. 🙄
Yes, I make my own GF bread crumbs. I could just add Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
Do you lay them flat on a cookie sheet or what?
What temp do you recommend?

@catholicbat my whole life I hated pork chops, thought they were so dry and bland. When I was 26 my.bf made me pork chops for dinner one night and they were delicious. I realized my mother had just always way overcooked them 🤦‍♀️
