How Do I Get Breading to Stick on Homemade Fried Chicken?

Once you put in hot grease dont touch. Just put lid on and wait to turn.
I just rinse SP and put my flour in zip lock bag 3 pieces at a time shake and put in pan. Good luck 👍

I use a packaged breading mix(my favorite is a store brand) and oven bake/fry my chicken...a lot less mess..save real fried chicken picked up from take out

Soak your chicken in milk, roll in flour mixture dip in egg/milk, back in flour, set aside for five minutes or more and then fry, good luck.

Dip into egg mixture then over into the crushed post toastes. If you don’t think it’s covered enough dip in everything again. Make sure your grease is hot enough

Everyone can give you all their tip. What it comes down to is making sure your fat is hot! I have a few different go to for different types of fried chicked(bone in , bone out, thin tenderized for chicken sandwiches and soon) along as my oil is at the right temp always turns out good.

I simply season and use flour. I also deep fry and have my grease extremely hot when I drop my chicken and then turn it back down a little. Works perfect for me and everyone compliments my chicken.

Are you using bone-in chicken? Skin on or skinless? Or are you trying to make chicken tenders? The temperature of your grease matters also.

The test kitchen puts the chicken on a rack after dredging, so it has time to stick as it dries.
Maybe it just needs time to become stickier.
