Crack Green Beans. I’m a Southern girl who follows recipes loosely 🤣
5 cans green beans (Cut or Italian style). Dump in a large pan. Bacon cut up and fried crispy(real bacon pieces work in a pinch😅).
Sauce: mix together in a saucepan
1/2 stick butter
2/3 c brown sugar
7 tsp soy sauce
Jarlic
Garlic powder (season with your heart ❤️) Heat until butter is melted and well combined.
Pour over green beans. Top with bacon. Cook at 350° for 40 mins.
 
Mashed turnips. Peel then Boil like potatoes. Mash and add butter with about a quarter teaspoon of sugar
