Looking for a Simple Broccoli Rice & Cheese Recipe for Thanksgiving!

Mix two cups of cooked rice and two or three bags of steamed broccoli (the ones you steam in the microwave) with a block of softened cream cheese and a cup of shredded cheddar. Season however you like, I personally like garlic powder, onion powder and pepper. Just remember if you use salt you don't need much because the cheese is salty. Once it's all mixed up spread it in a casserole dish as pop it in the oven for about 10-15 minutes (just long enough for the cheese to get all melty) then take it out and cover the top with more shredded cheese and crumble up down crackers on top. Switch the oven to broil and pop it in for about 3 to 5 minutes, just long enough for the top layer of cheese to melt and get bubbly.
 
Cheesy Broccoli Rice Casserole
2 (12-oz) pkgs frozen broccoli florets, thawed
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup celery, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
1 (15-oz) can nacho cheese sauce
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 (10.75-oz) cans cream of chicken soup
1 1/2 cups whole milk
2 1/2 cups instant rice
salt, to taste
ground black pepper, to taste
1. Preheat the oven to 350° F.
2. Heat the broccoli in the microwave or leave on the counter until defrosted.
3. Chop the broccoli and place it in a large bowl.
4. Melt the butter in a medium skillet over medium heat.
5. Sauté the onion and celery until soft.
6. Add the onion and celery to the bowl with the broccoli.
7. Add all of the remaining ingredients to the bowl, stirring until combined.
8. Pour the mixture into a 9x13 baking dish.
9. Cover and bake for 45 minutes.
 
1 cup instant rice cook sit aside add to bowl when done add
1 can cream of mush, mix
Add
1bag broccoli florets (cooked)
Slowly add the cheez mix well
Bake @ 350 till golden

@christicrusader I really just go on the persons preference I’ve use Velveeta I’ve used Aldi brand I do notice a slight difference between cheese whiz Aldi bran and Velveeta but they are all good lol
 
Cooked rice, cooked broccoli, can of mushroom soup, shredded cheese, salt n pepper, butter. Can make before and then heat up in oven til bubbly
 
20 ounces CHOPPED broccoli
1 stick buter
1/2 cup onion
1/2 cup celery ( I leave this out)
1 can cream soup
1/3 pound Velveeta cut up
1 soup can minute rice
1 soup can milk
Saute onion and celery in butter
Add Velveeta and melt
Add soup, rice and milk
Add broccoli
Bake 350 for 45-60 minutes
