Looking for Favorite Holiday Cookie Recipes for Christmas Gifts – Share Your Best!

I have gifted a tray of mixed sweets that I know I can make well- one or two batches can divide up to several generous gifts (shortbread, sugar cookies with icing, cherry balls, chocolate pb squares, gumdrop cake are my usuals)
For receiving I love things that I can’t/don’t make for myself - the homemade turtles candies, a variety of fudge, anything mint chocolate, Nanaimo squares
I’ve even found some great packaging and labels at dollarama to make it extra special

I honestly think it is wonderful to receive a gift of bread that has been baked in a tin can --- small, and lovely.
I give with small jar of honey butter - so simple, and small enough that the receiver can enjoy themself
