How Do I Get Breading to Stick on Homemade Fried Chicken?

Make sure your oil has been on, long enough to be hot. Add seasoned floured chicken don't turn to quickly. (That's why your breading will fall off)

I put flour in a bowl and I put garlic salt, pepper, onion powder, poultry seasoning. Mix it all up. In another bowl I put 4 eggs and cup milk mix it with the same spices I used for dry batter. Then I use all the spices again and cover the chicken I put chicken in dry mix then I rolled it in egg batter and then again in flour batter. Then I fry it in a cast iron skillet in hot oil.

Bread it, place it on cookie sheet, stick in freezer for at least 30 minutes, will take a little linger, but I have heard this will help..
I haven't made fried chicken in years

I always wet my chicken with water then dredge in flour, then egg and bread crumbs. Also when you put it in the pan don't move it around till the breading sets.

My no fail is egg wash to flour to egg wash to bread crumbs and most importantly...refrigerate til cool no bread crumbs fall off! Good luck!

Dip in eggs first, mix cornstarch in with your seasoned flour and press the flour mixture into each piece of chicken.
(You can also mix Bisquick into the flour mixture, makes it extra crispy.)
