How Do I Get Breading to Stick on Homemade Fried Chicken?

Seasoned flour, egg, seasoned flour , egg, breadcrumbs. Use a heat thermometer to make sure the oil is hot enough. Drop in chicken, wait the appropriate amount of time to flip (the least amount of times you touch the better to keep breading intact) remove chicken, and then recheat oil temp before next batch. If you're making your own seasoned flour...if it don't look diiiiiiirty dirty it's not seasoned enough. Good luck!

Make sure your oil is hot enough and there’s enough in the pan. I usually bread and then let sit on a platter a bit before dropping in hot oil.

I use my oven or airfryer ..I use flour, salt, pepper and paprika..in a 400 degree oven for 30minutes, turn and 30 minutes in oven....20 and 20 in airfryer

I toss in a bag with eggs, then toss in a bag with Kentucky Kernel seasoned flour. Sit on a baking rack for 5 or 10 min, then deep fry for around 15 min.

I dip mine in egg then flour. Place it on a wire rack that has wax paper on it. Let it rest about 15 minutes then fry. Chef Emeril shared this top with his famous wings and it works like a charm. Good luck
