Look up Emma’s Goodies. She shows how to make a lot of things in the microwave or oven with simple ingredients. I’ve made some of her yummy desserts. She just came out with a recipe book.
Baked ravioli. Frozen ravioli, marinara sauce, and mozzarella cheese. 3 ingredients, you just lay the raviolis in a pan and put sauce and cheese on it and bake til bubbly. Easiest recipe I’ve found!
Mix some shredded chicken (I bought canned shredded chicken)
A bag of shredded cheese
A block of cream cheese
And a ranch powder packet into a bowl
Then on a pan lay out the canned croissant rolls and put the mix in and roll it up
It only takes a little while to cook, about 9-12 minutes
Chicken Divan- 2 cans chicken, 2 cans cream of chicken soup, 1 cup mayo, 1/2 tsp curry powder (I use a little more because we like curry) 1 tsp lemon juice, 10 oz frozen broccoli. Cook broccoli- drain & put in baking dish. Drain the chicken & evenly place on top of broccoli. Mix the soup mayo, curry & lemon juice and pour over evenly. Sprinkle with cheese & bake at 350 for about 20-25 minutes or until bubbly. You can serve this with rice. It is yummy
Pepper steak
3-4 pieces cubed steak or round steak cut into strips
3 bell peppers cut into thin slices ( any color)
1 large sweet onion cut into strips
1 large can crushed tomatoes
2 packs of brown gravy mix
Brown meat in 2 tablespoons oil, season with salt and pepper and garlic powder. Once brown add pepper and onion and continue stirring until they start to soften, add can of tomatoes and let simmer until vegetables are desired softness. Mix both packs of gravy mix into 1 cup of cold water and add to pot. Stir well and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. Serve over rice
I stock up on the knorr pasta or rice envelopes plus Rice-A-Roni and pasta Roni and zatarain's rice mixes when they are on sale. You really don't need to add anything other than water to any of these packages despite what the directions say
Velveeta Mac and cheese, cooked hamburger and a can of cream of mushroom soup! It’s like a hamburger helper! Thin spaghetti noodles, tossed in oil olive, garlic and shredded parmesan cheese. My kids loved this growing up because I didn’t have much. Kielbasa sausage cut up and potatoes sliced with eggs. Breakfast burritos are always good too.
Might be good to gwt ine of those light weight or folds up small things you pull around on 2 wheels she and her friends can put a couple bags of groceries in to pull back to the place
Big Mac salad. Brown hamburger. Add to shredded lettuce, cheese, tomatoes if they like, chopped up dill pickles. Make the dressing from mayo, ketchup, a little mustard, and some pickle juice. Tastes just like a Big Mac!
Ramen noodle stir fry.
Soy sauce I use low sodium but regular is fine, minced garlic, sesame oil or vegetable oil. Only a few Tablespoons of oil.. and as much as you would like of the other's. pack of seasoning that come in the noodles. Any veggies you would like. I use broccoli. Carrots, onions and peppers, Mushrooms. Wash and chop all veggies add to pan with the above ingredients. Cook a few minutes on high heat place lid on pan and turn heat off. Veggies with continue to steam. In another pan cook noodles until done drain and add to veggies.
A package of ramen noodles (any flavor as you won't use the flavor pack) cook the noodles, add some some honey and bbq sauce to a pan and place a chicken breast cook til not pink while spooning the sauce over the chicken. Slice the chicken, and pour the drained noodles into the sauce with the chicken mix together and serve.
@freakyp71 they are expensive so I just buy the ramen packets and not use the seasonings. Above is last nights supper. 1 bag cooked shrimp,1 bag frozen mixed veggies and three packs of ramen. Cooked noodles separately from veggies and shrimp. Added a little onion powder, garlic powder and soy sauce. Could use any kind of meat. Have used diced spam also
@mnarvasa001 you can use the seasonings in twice the amount of rice with a bit of fat (butter ghee oil bacon grease what have you) and not have packets just wasting around, usually the chicken one in plain rice is pretty good as a side for suppers.
