One pound hamburger, family size can cream of mushroom soup, 8oz if sour cream, cooked egg noodles or rice ...fry up burger meat like you are gonna make tacos, drain add the can of cream of mushroom soup and heat thoroughly take off heat and add sour cream mix well and serve over egg noodles or rice...you can also add a small can of mushrooms if you would like more mushrooms
 
Simple quesodillas (spelling) tortilla shredded chicken (drained can chicken work), but can use any meat of choice, shredded cheese. Place tortilla in a hot frying pan with a little oil place chicken and cheese and any seasoning you may like on Half tortilla fold in half. I personally place a nother pot on top to help it cook through after about a min flip for another min. Take off cut into quarters enjoy. I dip mine in sour cream
 
In a bake dish one bag of either fresh or frozen hash brown potatoes, one can of creamed soup, onion, 2 cups of cheddar cheese, one stick melted butter, salt and pepper to taste, mix throughly, then, cook at 350 for one hour with frozen or an hour and a half if fresh potatoes, easy and so delicious
 
Dirty rice is fairly inexpensive and pretty filling.
Any ground meat with rice.
Black beans with yellow rice (I add tomatoes & onions)
 
Naan pizzas, buy pkg of naan bread or pizza crust or even garlic bread add some.pepperoni, green pepper sliced or chopped and some shredded cheese and have mini pizzas
Can also make breakfast wraps scramble some.eggs add sausage or bacon , some cheese and roll up
Can also buy a rotissery chicken then pull it apart and use some some to make chicken fried rice
1 or 2 cups of cooked rice ( i cook mine in chicken stock for more flavor 2 cup of liquid per 1 cup rice)
1 - 2 green onions chopped
Chop up some peppers if desired and sautee with rice in pan with oil or butter
Cut up cooked chicken and add
Add in some chicken stock maybe 1\2 cup
Add in some vh honey garlic sauce start with 1/2 cup and add more if needed
Can use some of the rotissery chicken to make enchiladas
Shredded chicken
Can of enchildas sauce green or red
Shredded cheese
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Chili powder
Flour tortillas
Take chicken and mix with spices 1 tsp of each if you have
Add in 1 tbsp of the enchilada sauce and a handfull of shredded cheese
Mix
Spoon the mix onto tortillas and roll up
Place in oven safe dish seam side down add the rest of the sauce and top with cheese and bake in oven for about 20 or 30 min at 350
Serve hot
Can garnish with sour cream and green onions and shredded iceberg lettuce
Quesadilla
Flour tortilla
Chopped up chicken
Shredded cheese
Diced peppers
Diced green onion
Ceasar dressing
Place some ceasar dressing on flour tortilla add the cooked chicken, veggies and then fold over and fry in pan till golden brown on both sides serve with salsa
Chicken pot pie
1 or 2 pkg of cresent rolls
1small can of cream of chicken soup
Cooked chicken
Bag of frozen peas and carrots
In large pot or bowl add the frozen veggies, chicken and can of soup ( may need to add some water to the soup to thin out)
Mix then pout mixture into bottom.of oven safe casserol dish
Unroll crescent dough and place on top of mixture, and bake in oven at 350 for about 20 min till crescent dough is cooked through and brown
To brown dough faster add a egg wash to the top
Macaroni and beef
Fry up a 1 ibs oh ground beef
Add in a chopped onion
Add in a can or 2 of tomato soup ( i use 1)
And mix
Bring some macaroni to a boils and once cooked till el dente add to meat mixture and combine ( can use some of the boiled water to add to make sauce easier to mix
 
Fried rice pre cook white rice and place in container. In the refrigerator you want to use cold rice. I usually make 2 cups of rice.( For a family of three with a beef roast or chicken.)
Add a Tablespoon off butter scramble 2 eggs or how many you like. Add to hot pan cook until done. Take out of pan and set aside. Add another Tablespoon off butter and diced onion cook until done. Add cold rice soy sauce and a little brown sugar. Cook until hot. Add frozen peas and carrots and the cooked eggs. Cooked until hot and mixed together.
 
My base grocery list:
Cream of chicken soup
Sour cream
Shredded cheese
Shredded chicken
Basic seasonings (garlic,onion,salt,pepper)
Put all together and you can make 4 different recipes
You can wrap it in a tortillas,top w cheese and bake for enchiladas
Put in casserole dish and top with ritz crackers for chicken casserole
Add velveeta or just extra cheese & Put over noodles for chicken spaghetti
Heat and serve with crackers or chips for dip
 
Chop suey, ham steak w/ Mac and cheese, spaghetti, hot ham and cheese, hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken broccoli Alfredo, chicken noodle soup (can, or homemade) and grilled cheese. Bbq chicken legs or thighs with potatoes, baked Mac and cheese..... those are some of my cheap go tos
 
Top ramen from scratch spaghetti noodles cook with chicken or beef broth. Add some shredded carrots, spinach , broccoli, what ever you like raw or blanched works if raw small pieces. We like to put a hard boiled egg in ours but not necessary.
 
Hawaiian rolls - slice across, add Italian cold cuts, ham, cheese sticks, put top rolls back on and spoon over melted butter with Italian seasoning garlic powder. Cook 35 minutes on 375.
 
Cheesy Vegetable Soup: cook a 16 ounce bag of California blend vegetables in 1 can chicken broth (or use 2 cups water plus a bouillon cube) for 10 minutes until softened. Mash a bit. Stir in 12 ounces Velveeta cheese (or equivalent) until melted. Makes 6 cups at 190 calories per cup. Recipe can be doubled. If you want it thicker, add a little instant mashed potato flakes. You can just use broccoli, too.
 
Foil packs in the oven.
Meat and vegetables of your choice. Salt and pepper and a little butter or marinade.
Use a good size piece if foil lay all ingredients on the foil wrap up ends and put on baking sheet. 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes. Each person could make their own.
 
Taco Mac!
1lb ground beef cooked
1 can chili beans
1 taco packet
1 can drained rotel (you can omit this)
1 box prepared Velveeta shells n cheese. (any Mac n cheese will work, we prefer Velveeta?
Mix all together. Feeds a lot. We get 3 adults dinners and 2 lunches out of it.
