Looking for Easy, Cheap, and Delicious Recipes for College Students

I tell my granddaughter to think of meals with 2 or more uses. Get a bag of meatball and cook in sauce. Buy hot dog buns (cheaper than regular buns) bag of cheese and fries. Have meatball hoagie and fries. If you have left over meatballs and cheese get a bag of cheese ravioli. Layer of meatballs and sauce, ravioli, then cheese. If you have left over hot fog bun butter and grill with garlic for garlic bread with pasta

Egg bake. Scramble eggs ( I do 10 to feed 5 of us) add about 1/2 cup milk and salt and pepper. I dice up a ham steak ( can use cooked bacon or cooked sausage, ham is easy and the individual ham steaks are cheap), shred some cheddar ( enough to cover the bottom of dish) layer ham then cheese then pour in egg mixture. Bake at 350F for 30 mins. Can also add veggies Like onions, peppers even asparagus ( pre cook veggies first before adding on top of meat). We have this with toast.

You can buy cups of Mac n cheese cut up hot dogs in it buy hot dogs can of chili if everyone would chip in pay 7 a piece they could buy a pulled pork make sandwiches share with all ham and cheese subs

Make chicken Rice-A-Roni, and then stir in some scrambled eggs. You can add some frozen vegetables that you do in the microwave.

Buy a rotisserie chicken and shred. Mix with chicken broth and noodles or vegetables, put in a whole wheat tortilla with lettuce and any vegetables you like, throw on greens with cucumbers and tomatoes and onions, and your favorite dressing. Mix with mayonnaise and a little crushed pineapple and nuts if desired to make a chicken salad, mix with Italian dressing and noodles throw any vegetables and make pasta salad or make it all hot and do a hot pasta dish.
Mix the chicken with cooked rice and stuff in a bell pepper and roast in the oven. You can put tomato sauce or Alfredo sauce from the jar on it. Or cheese sauce
