Garlic mash potatoes made with red petites. Boil and coursely mash potatoes. Sauté some garlic in butter, pour into mash, add cream cheese and a bit of milk. May add garlic powder if more flavor is needed. All of this is “to taste” so measure until your ancestors say “that’s enough my child”.

I seen this posted the other day on Facebook for a loaded baked potato casserole I don't know if that would be considered mashed potatoes 🤔 but she took eight potatoes and diced peeled and boiled drained when done and lightly mashed put in a mixing bowl and add shredded cheese while potato's are hot crumbled bacon and green onions mix it up then take half a stick to 1stick of butter melt and pour and mixture add half a cup of milk and one cup sour cream mix well pour in 9x13 dish spread evenly top shredded cheese bake at 3:50 for 25 minutes

I just use heavy cream or half and half in place of milk and make how I normally would. Someone told me about this a few years back. Never used milk again. Unless I had too lol

I LOVE mashed potatoes..my comfort food. I usually boil them with some salted water. Mashing in some butter, milk and occasionally sour cream. However I did see a new way was to cook them in milk instead of water. I'm gonna try it this year and check it out.

Yukon gold potatoes diced. Boil 15-20 minutes ( make sure to start with cold water and salt the water). Depending on how much you make, add butter ( I use a whole stick) and add desired amount of sour cream. Then mash till creamy. Delicious every time
