I just made this but I used a Cole Slaw Mix in the Produce Dept. Already cut up & cheaper than buying cabbage & carrots. I also used canned Chicken breast instead of sausage this time & was a really good, cheap, quick meal

Head of cabbage chopped into big pieces, 5 potatoes cut in about 1 inch pieces, sliced smoked sausage, 1/2 bottle of Louisiana hot sauce (more or less based on preference) mix all together, put into large baking pan, put stick of butter on top,, cover with foil,, bake at 375 till potatoes are done

@ruthchirie or replace hot sauce with a can of stewed tomatoes and some seasoning if you don’t like it hot. I’ve always done this on stove top. Oven method is good to know thanks!
