Peel and cut up into 1 in chucks. Boil until you can easily pierce with a fork. Drain. Add butter (a lot- it’s Thanksgiving!) sour cream, and a little milk. Salt and pepper, mix with a mixer.
I only use Idaho potato take skin off and cut up boil to soft then add warm milk slowly and butter mash up and salt and pepper to taste. I always get compliments.
Go to GFS...buy bag of precooked mashed potatoes (serves 16), put in crockpot with a stick and a half of butter, salt, pepper, and some milk. Voila. Delicious and easy
Russet potatoes, heavy cream (warm) about a cup add slowly …and cold butter about 1 stick .. salt and pepper . I use a hand masher . Delicious every time.. not diet friendly
Frozen southern hash browns 1 32oz bag , 1 10.5 ounce thing of cream of chicken , half a cup of sour cream , 2 1/2 cups cheddar cheese in the crockpot , I learned this from making potato and sausage casserole in the crockpot and it turned into mashed potatoes and sausage
Butter , whole milk, cream cheese. Make sure to use enough salt. Also keep them in a slow cooker...it's easy to transport, keeps them nice and hot, and adds to the flavor.
Just butter, milk, salt & pepper to taste. Beat until smooth & creamy.
Tip: do not let the potatoes cool down before you mash them. They will be lumpy and sometimes a funky texture. In my experience, that is.
