Fry up some cabbage in butter. About a stick for head of cabbage Cook some egg noodles. Mix egg noodles in the fried cabbage. Salt pepper. Old school. But so good!!!! Can add any meat you like. Ham sausage hamburger

Egg roll in a bowl! This was half a package of coleslaw but same diff.. a little sesame oil, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder 🙂 normally I use ground meat in it too but had these chicken breasts to use up. I also usually top with green onion but I’m out. SO good.
 
I just made a cabbage soup. I used a smoked turkey leg for the stock usually around 5 to 6 bucks, they give off lots of meat too. Onions, carrot, celery satueed with olive oil, salt pepper & garlic, for 5 min the add the turkey leg and let go another 5 to minutes on low covered. Now add water. I use a 8 qt pot. leave 2 & 1/2 inches at top. then add a splash of vinegar, splash hot sauce, chile flakes, garlic powder. I add 2 large spoons of knorr chicken powder, let go on med to high heat low boil, 45 min. the turkey leg will be easy to break apart & debone. Then add potatoes & turkey meat back in for 20 min. The last 10 min add the cabbage.
 
Runzas/ bierocks! Basically brown a pound of ground beef, sauté an onion with it, season with garlic, salt, pepper, Worcestershire, and some Tony’s creole seasoning then mix in about half to a while head of cabbage and sauté until soft, then use that as a filling for bread dough ( can use frozen and thawed dinner rolls or make your own) and then bake at like 350F until golden brown and the bread is cooked though
 
@silverblack59 you can use a Pkg of coleslaw in the grocery lettuce aisle if you don’t want to chop cabbage. I use the mix with carrots and mixed cabbage. We like a gravy on the finished bierocks made from a can of mushroom soup thinned with a can of mushroom pieces and the juice and you might add a tad of cream/milk to the thickness you like. And we make a Pkg of brown gravy in a separate pan. Some like one or the other but me? I like a spoon of each on my bierocks.
 
Smoked sausage, white onion, salt and pepper, green and red bell pepper 🌶️ 🫑. Cook smoke sausage in a cast iron skillet, leave dripping in pan. Add cabbage, onion s &p, and bell peppers. Add 1/2 cup of water and chicken bouillon add to taste. Steam for 5 minutes, then serve.
