Tips for Cooking Boneless Pork Shoulder in Dutch Oven (No BBQ Sauce)

Marinade overnight in orange and lime juice, fresh garlic and onions. Drop in crockpot and season with salt and pepper. Add orange juice, onion, cilantro (or leave that out), fresh garlic and jalepenos to the pot. Cool on low for 8 hours and shred. Amazing!

@tiwomfuko it’s super easy, and the longer it sits, the better it tastes. If you want to, you can rub the roast in garlic, onion and oregano, and add the zest of the limes and oranges, so good!

Get your pot hot, get a good brown all around. If it sticks to the pot some…. That’s even better, just before burn given a good gravy! While ya doing that, chop up 1 or 2 big onions, a bell pepper and a couple stalks of celery (Cajun trifecta!)The water from these will usually loosen that stuck on deliciousiousness, if not, add enough water to get the stick up and brown those veggies. Add a packet of Lipton onion soup mix, whatever seasonings you like on pork, a couple dashes of cinnamon (discovered on accident) water and/or broth to almost cover. Put the lid on and forget other than an occasional check and turn for an hour or two….. it’ll fall apart when done!😋

@lilreb85 you can either cut the pork and put it directly in the cooker or brown it on the stove top first. I put everything in the crockpot on low for about 7 hours:
1 1/2 pounds tomatillos
5 garlic cloves, unpeeled
2 jalapeños, seeds and ribs removed, chopped
2 Anaheim or Poblano chiles, optional
1 bunch cilantro leaves, chopped
3 1/2 to 4 pounds pork shoulder (also called pork butt), trimmed of excess fat and cut into 1 to 2-inch cubes
Salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Extra virgin olive oil
2 yellow onions, chopped
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 tablespoons chopped fresh oregano or 1 tablespoon dried oregano
2 1/2 cups chicken stock
Pinch ground cloves

You can cut one into 1 1/2 to 2inch thick and frezze good in hiw many chops you use at a time .You can also bang them down and make Pork snitzels roll in flour with salt and pepper then roll in egg wash then roll in bread crumbs and fry in oil

Put in crockpot all day on low. Add chopped onion, caraway seeds, chopped apple and some black pepper to the kraut. Drain some of the juice out of the kraut before adding anything then put in crockpot and put roast on top. Salt and pepper the roast and put a little diced onion on top. Very good!!! You can add some carrots and potatoes if you want.

Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, put on the crock pot on high for 4/5 hrs or low for 8 hrs... I would separate and do a few different meals... first meal I take a bottle of verde salsa mix with the meat, spread cream cheese on a warm Tortilla, add meat and shredded cheese, roll up!
Next meal I take some meat add cream of mushroom soup in the crock pot let simmer, this is great with mash taters, or a big baked potato, even noodles! Next meal mix meat with alil balsamic, brown sugar, put it in the oven under the broiler just till it starts to caramelize! Enjoy!
