Tips for Cooking Boneless Pork Shoulder in Dutch Oven (No BBQ Sauce)

Carnitas, add a can of chipotle peppers, orange juice, lime juice, some Mexican seasonings and a can of your fave beer. Slow boil until it’s falling apart, shred and eat as tacos.
Pulled pork, cover in mustard then season, throw in Dutch oven with a can of Dr Pepper and your favorite bbq sauce
 
Pork Shoulder Boneless Blade Roast
Chop 3 unpeeled potatoes, slice 1 onion, slice 1 green pepper. Season roast with garlic powder, sage, and oregano. Sear roast on all sides. Put half of the potatoes, onions, pepper, and half of 1 package sliced mushrooms on the bottom of a slow cooker. Put roast on top. Add 1 can beef broth and a can of pineapple juice. Add 1 can stewed tomatoes on top of roast, then the rest of the potatoes, onions, peppers, and mushrooms. Cook for 4 hours on low, turn roast over, and cook for another 4 hours.
 
I always use them for more than one meal, so I cook them in my crockpot with only basic seasoning, salt, pepper, garlic and onion. When done, I shred and separate. I then reheat and season for use. I do bbq pork sandwiches, then on tacos, then for chili. I use on salads, or add to gravy to top mashed potatoes. Good in quesedillas and taquitos too!
 
In crockpot add taco seasoning mix and chopped onion. Let cook on low over night. Drain Shred cool next day. Take big flour tortillas place some meat and Mexican cheese on roll like burrito.. pour enchilada sauce in bottom of baking pan just enuff to cover. Lay enchiladas snug against each other. Should be able to fit approximately 7-8 in baking dish rolled top with enchilada sauce and cheese bake until cheese melted.. These are great. Serve with toppings of choice or just as is.
 
I just did a pork roast in my crock pot all day with just salt, pepper, garlic powder, minced dried onion, water, and apple cider vinegar it was the best I have had in a long time and the leftovers could be used in many different ways which was a plus..
 
@sartrian I just dumped a little in till i could smell it in the water.. I'm horrible about measuring and it really didn't taste like it at all to me anyways and my husband said it was one of the best pork roasts with the taste of actual roast not just that pork flavor you get sometimes..
