Need Budget-Friendly Meal Ideas: Tired of Chuck Steaks & Pasta - Looking for Cheap, Nutritious Recipes!

Look for the Knorr sides in grocery store. There’s different flavored rice and noodles.. under $2.00 each and will break up the monotony. Also check for a day old bread section. Sometimes they’ll put some fruits with a tiny blemish or other things there because the box had been opened. You never know. Also look for a .99 aisle. I found one during pandemic. Good luck!

Mississippi Chicken in the crockpot!
- 3-4 chicken breasts. (Depending on size)
- 1 packet of dry ranch seasoning.
- 1 packet of au jus gravy.
- 1/2 stick of butter. (Cut in squares.)
- 6-8 jarred pepperoncini peppers or banana peppers. (Add however many you like).
I also add a little bit of juice from the jar too. But that's optional.
Put in the crockpot on low for 6-8 hours.
Serve over mashed potatoes.
You can also do the same with a chuck roast. Same ingredients/same amount. Just different meat.
