Quiche and I use thinly sliced potatoes for the crust versus a pie shell. Just thinly slice potatoes of your choice, sprinkle salt, pepper and olive oil then line a pie pan put in oven at 400 10 mins while you prep the quiche filling. Remove from oven pour in filling ans bake. 30 mins should do it. I serve it with meatloaf or by it's self

Friendship Bake: cut 1 or 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts into chunks. Peel 6-8 small red potatoes, open a can of green beans and rinse them.
Line a 9x13 baking pan with foil, letting it hang over the edges. Put all the potatoes in 1 row, then the chicken, then the potatoes. Salt and pepper to taste, melt 4 tbl. butter and brush over all. Sprinkle dry ranch seasoning over the potatoes and chicken. Bake, uncovered, at 350 until chicken is 165 in center and potatoes are soft, about 40 minutes.
